M.A.C. Football Is Coming to Roanoke - Here's What You Need to Know

Melrose Athletic Club has been giving Roanoke youth a fighting chance since 1972. For five decades that mission has lived inside Champ's Gym - in the boxing ring, on the training floor, and in the lives of over a thousand young people who found their footing here.

Now it is moving to the football field.

Introducing M.A.C. Football

M.A.C. Youth Football is the newest program at Melrose Athletic Club, Inc. Built on the same foundation as Champ's Gym - free access, community-first, character-driven - M.A.C. Football gives Roanoke youth another way to find discipline, teamwork, and belonging through sport.

The program is open to youth ages 8 and up. No experience necessary. No cost to participate. Just show up ready to work.

M.A.C. Football is not just about what happens on the field. Every practice, every game, and every team meeting is an opportunity to build the kind of young person that Roanoke needs more of. Our coaches focus on football fundamentals — agility, teamwork, strategy, and conditioning - while reinforcing the life skills that carry athletes far beyond the sport.
